Ross Nia is majoring in Computer Science and Engineering at University of California, Davis. He expects to get his B.Sc. in Fall 2008 and is planning for graduate studies afterwards. Ross is currently the president of the Computer Science Club of UC Davis. He has served as a member of directorial board of the ISCAO at UC Davis for a year. In 2003, Ross received a Silver Medal at the Iranian Informatics Olympiads at the high school level, and in 2008 he ranked 8th in the North-Western ACM Programming competitions. Ross joined the SISWEBS team in April 2008 and has made some contributions to the GDSS project.

Ross does not spend all his time at the computer and works out a lot and he never says “no” to any kind of sport. Weight lifting, basketball, soccer, badminton make up his weekly work out schedule.
